HARBOR  RIDGE  PAVILION  USE  GUIDELINES    Please read these guidelines carefully.

 Reservations 

 1.     Property owners in good standing may reserve the pavilion for private meetings, parties and other events of twenty-five or more individuals on a first-come, first-served basis.  Pavilion availability may be determined by checking with the Harbor Ridge Board member responsible for ‘Pavilion Liaison’.  Reservations may be made by submitting this application to the Pavilion Liaison member along with a refundable damage/cleaning deposit check for $50.00 payable to HRHOA.

 2.     The Harbor Ridge Homeowners Association reserves the right to deny a reservation to any property owner hosting a party primarily for guests under the age of 18 unless the property owner can satisfactorily assure the Association that proper and adequate adult supervision will be provided.

 3.     Property owners may not reserve the pavilion for events in which guests must pay an entrance fee or purchase food or other items at a profit to the property owner or any other person or entity with the exception of a professional caterer, nor may the facilities be used for any illegal purpose. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Harbor Ridge Home Owners Association may hold events charging such fees to be used by the association as determined by the Harbor Ridge Owners Association Board of Directors.

 Responsibilities

 1.     The property owner reserving the facility is solely responsible for the facilities and conduct of attendees during the event. The term ‘property owner’ refers to a property owner at Harbor Ridge and does not refer to the child of a property owner, regardless of the child’s age.  The Board or its agent retains the right to visit the facility during the event as deemed necessary at the exclusive discretion of the Board.

 2.     The property owner reserving the facility is responsible for all damages to the facility by himself/herself, his/her family and/or guests.  In the event that the pavilion is damaged during the event, all necessary expenses and costs to restore the Pavilion will be charged back to the property owner reserving the facility.

 3.     The property owner is solely responsible to ensure that there will be no substance abuse, including alcohol abuse or serving of alcohol to minors at the pavilion or on Harbor Ridge property during the scheduled event. Violation of the above will result in immediate termination of the event and the summoning of law enforcement authorities.

  Cleaning after the event The property owner renting the pavilion is responsible to clean the facility and the immediate surrounding area before 12:00 noon of the day following the event unless another scheduled event forces the clean-up deadline to be earlier.  The property owner shall dispose of and remove all trash and garbage from the pavilion and surrounding area. No food should be left behind, and any and all trash receptacles shall be emptied.  All furniture shall be left as it was found, all tables and benches shall be wiped down as needed.

 Refund of Deposit The pavilion will be inspected following the cleaning deadline.  If applicable, the property owner will be notified of any damages within forty eight (48) hours of this inspection and provided an itemized bill.  The property owner will be expected to reimburse the Harbor Ridge Homeowners Association for all damages above the $50.00 deposit within twenty (20) business days.  The deposit will normally be returned by mail following a satisfactory inspection.

 Insurance The property owner utilizing the facility assumes total responsible for personal injury to anyone using the facility associated with this event. The Harbor Ridge Homeowners Association is released of any responsibility for injury to any person associated with the usage of the Pavilion and the access lot for this event. The property owner attests that they are fully aware of the guidelines as shown above.

I have read the Harbor Ridge Pavilion Use Guidelines and am fully aware of my responsibilities and liabilities.  I furthermore agree to abide by all restrictions/agreements/provisions of this application.
